Next events at Il-Ħaġar Museum

The next two Saturdays offer two varied appointments at Il-Ħaġar museum, and both start at 11.00am.
On 6 July there is a session of Meet the Artist, with ceramist Paul Haber, whose works – over thirty – are featured in the current Nostalgiaexhibition at Il-Ħaġar Museum, as part of the Victoria International Arts Festival. The appointment includes a short documentary on the history and techniques behind local ceramic making. A signed full-colour catalogue from Il-Ħaġar Gems series is also available at the front desk.
A public lecture will be delivered by author Michael Collins on 13 July. St George the Martyr: A Story for Our Times serves as an ideal introduction into the festa in honour of the Megalomartyr which culminates on the 21st of July.
Booking is recommended for both, on events@heartofgozo.org.mt, but entrance remains free: opening hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week.
