Opalia – Treasures of Victoria’s HeArt

10 Jul 2015 - 19 Jul 2015

Opalia – Treasures of Victoria’s HeArt is an innovative Exhibition being
held, as part of the Victoria International Arts Festival, at Il-Ħaġar –
Heart of Gozo Museum (Pjazza San Ġorġ, Victoria). The Official
Inauguration is in the evening of 10th July but visitors will be welcome
till the 19th, with additional morning viewing by appointment. There is no
entrance fee.

Opalia is the result of thirty years’ experience and the pursuit for
artistic jewellery completeness around the world. Inspired by the
admiration for design, fashion and elegance, and with an eagerness to
explore all that is multifaceted or even primordial, Opalia has an
exclusive love for Malta’s zest for art and culture. The resulting works
are jewels that give the impression of a miniature universe. Composite
fine jewellery art objects that are home to 100% unique and original
artefacts, the pieces are able to satisfy the most demanding customer and
trend. This is possible since Opalia is in continuous evolution, using a
combination of all sorts of precious materials, with an exclusive eye for
elite Australian Opals.

The exhibition showcases Paolo Labianco’s artistic creativity, featured in
an enchanting and spectacularly distinctive scenario. He has numerous
international accolades to his credit.
