SAVIO MIZZI EXHIBITION INAUGURATED

Last Friday Il-Hagar Museum inaugurated a paintings exhibition by Savio Mizzi, a Gozitan from Victoria living in the United States of Amercia. The inauguration was opened by Mgr Joseph Farrugia, the museum curator, who made a welcome address to those present. The exhibition is open to the general public and entrance is free of charge. One of his paintings, portraying the statue of St George, venerated at St George’s Basilica, has been printed in a limited edition. The numbered prints have been offered for sale during a fund raising lunch, which was held yesterday in aid of the museum.
