On Saturday 10th February at 11:00, Il-Ħaġar Museum will host the second book launch for this year: Tiġi Għawdex? by Gozitan poetĠorġ Pisani and published by Delicon Books.  The two volumes are a collection of 130 selected articles originally written with many others so that the author himself would read them during a programme about Gozo broadcasted on Radju Malta for many years.  Many of these articles uncover the life of our Gozitan predecessors, exploring amongst others their habits, work, and traditions.  Some other articles portray details about obscure characters, specific locations, and historical niches.  Dr Paul George Pisani, notary and the author’s son, will be giving the official speech and articles from the book will also be read.  The audience will have the privilege of listening to the poet’s own voice reading some of the articles thanks to archived recordings.
