Last week, Il-Ħaġar Museum hosted two groups of young students from the Gozo Visual and Performing Arts School, who wished to visit the current Norbert Attard retrospective exhibition, TRANSITIONS. The two groups, who visited us on Monday the 26th and on Thursday the 29th of May, were welcomed by Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria Chairman Antoine Vassallo, who gave them a short introduction to the museum and cultural centre, before they proceeded on a tour of the temporary exhibition led by their Art teacher, Ms Sonia S. Scerri. As part of the session, each student selected an artwork from the exhibition that inspired them, using it as the basis for their own creative interpretation.
It is always a pleasure for us to host students of all ages with the aim to foster interest in various aspects of art and culture.
